Visiting/Hourly Care
With this care package, you maintain your independence, and receive help daily without the need for a full time or live-in carer, from the comfort of your own home.

Some ways in which our Hourly Carer supports you at home:

Personal care
We help with preparing and serving meals, we visit to organise a bath, get into clean clothes and fresh bed linen.

Dietary needs & Mealtimes
Our carer will be able to prepare your favourite meals when requested, as well as tidying up. The are able to provide nutritious foods that adhere to your individual dietary plan. We assist at mealtimes

Start & End of Day Prep
At the end of each day we can help with getting ready for bed. We also help with the start of the day: getting up, getting washed and dressed. Make breakfast, support with medication; as well as remind you and assist you in taking medicines. If required, can return or collect medication from your dispensing GP surgery or a pharmacy

Outings
We can collect your pension with or for you, help make a shopping list and shop with you, help go to the shops as well as sort out the shopping afterwards. We can also support with social activities like attending the day centre, church, a club, going out for a walk, visiting family and friends and being companions at your home and on trips.

Household chores
Within the household; we help with the washing, ironing, housework and keeping the house clean.

Getting around
In promoting your independence, our carer can accompany you whenever you like, be it to the shops, a weekend away, the community centre or visiting a friend

Once initial contact has been made, we will aim to carry out an assessment within 24 – 48 hours.
This assessment is a ‘get to know you’ assessment so we can really understand you, which enables us to understand how best we can support you.

We then aim to work with you and those who know you best to tailor an individual support pathway.
